If you have been on tour or watching TV lately, you may have heard about the miracle string in tennis. You may have heard people say it allows the player to deliver a harder hit ball, with more spin on it. This is probably only partly true. However, it is certainly the talk of the town, and does certainly have some really good characteristics which should be talked about
Lexilon Industries is based in Antwerp, Belgium, and produces some of the finest tennis racket strings. Lexilon continues to do research and development which results in some of the finest monofilament tennis strings in the world.
Luxilon said they are presenting a new ALU Power Spin tennis string. This string is a newly designed string which was added to the ALU Power Group Line. The ALU Power Spin is a pentagon shaped string. The old ALU 125 has strings that are similar. The 125 was at one time used a lot on the pro tour. The new string is supposed to deliver a greater "bite," which will add a lot more spin to the racket. The new ALU 127 is made of the same poly-ether material which is found in all Big Banger Strings. The addition of the ALU 127 allows the ALU group of strings to now deliver four distinctly different versions. These different strings will allow players to pick the type of power combination they need and want. Another new feature is the addition of a fluoro carbon, which enhances comfort and control. To find out for sure if these are the strings for you, you'll need to try one.
